What Is A Product Sourcing Service?
CanalTire.com is a website that provides a compelling diversity and scope of cycling themed products so thorough that it is impossible to stock everything. Instead we offer a "Real Time" peek into the shelves of one of Americas' largest cycling products supplier. There are multiple warehouses across the country and we have access to all of them. This means that when you complete your purchase and pay for your order, you are in essence "authorizing us to act on your behalf in sourcing and obtaining the products you want". This isn't a retail transaction in the traditional sense, after all we have to order the product, wait for it come in and then ship it to you. We order two to three times a week from our supplier so if you order, your order can take longer to be completed than if we had the product in stock.
What Does Guaranteed "In-Stock" Mean?
Our shopping cart returns Real-Time data from one of the largest Bicycle Parts distributors in the country. This means our shopping cart will only let you choose things that are in stock at this moment.
How Many Products Do You Carry?
Our website has over 12,000 items In Stock right now.
How Can You Carry So Many Products?
Our proprietary software works hand in hand with our supplier. We have one source, and three shipments a weeks coming in.
How Does Your "Price Match" Work?
If you find another website with a cheaper price than us, "Soft Purchase" the item by selecting "Purchase Order" in your shopping cart and then include in the order notes how much you want to pay and why. You will receive either a call or an email with a coupon to purchase the item. For fastest service, phone in your price match requests.
How Do You Ship?
We always try to ship US Priority Mail when possible and US Parcel Post next. FedEx and UPS are also used but only if they are cheaper or the boxes are large.
What Is The Average Turn-Around time?
Most orders are filled in a 48- 72 hour window with weekends and holidays excepted. Depending on what you order, some items may come from alternate warehouses which adds to the delivery time. However, these are only guidelines. Actual shipping times are explained either on the phone or via email after you place your provisional order.
How Are Returns Handled?
Return instructions are included with every package we ship. You can also call or email for the instructions as well. We issue refunds after getting merchandise back. Return shipping is provided if the mistake is ours.
